In THE BEGINNING

Kendan Adams is a multifaceted artist with a deep passion for music—not only as a listener, but also as a writer, producer, and performer. Born in Paramaribo, Suriname, and raised in Aruba from the age of seven, Kendan’s musical journey began early and has been shaped by a rich blend of cultural influences.

A childhood photo captures the essence of his musical roots: a two-year-old Kendan sitting beside his father’s music player, headphones on, immersed in the sounds of Bob Marley, classic Motown, and artists from the '80s and '90s..

THE BEST HAS YET TO COME

The early fascination with music grew into a lifelong pursuit. Driven by curiosity and creativity, Kendan started taking piano lessons and soon began collaborating with local rappers and singers. Over time, he honed his skills and formed meaningful artistic partnerships, including successful collaborations with Mayson Pharez and CuBi, which led to the release of the single “Anonymous.” He was also featured on Chi City’s album Cruel Winter with the track “ForEver”.

In 2019, Kendan felt called to reconnect with his roots. Teaming up with DJ and producer Dave Nunes, he released music inspired by R&B and soul, fused with African and Caribbean sounds—creating a sound that felt both nostalgic and new.

In 2021, he officially transitioned to the artist name Kendan Adams, a name that reflects his personal growth and artistic evolution..
